So I was reading with great interest the Secondlife blog the other day... the Headline read:
Second Life economy totals $567 million US dollars in 2009 - 65% growth over 2008
Gross Resident Earnings are $55 million US Dollars in 2009 - 11% growth over 2008
that's Millions folks, with an M! Million...
The blog continued on stating: User-to-User transactions reached US$567 million in 2009, up 65% from 2008
The US economy may be bad, but in SL apparently the economy isn't that bad. I'm guessing people are staying home more and using what little they have to buy Lindens.
