Anyway... in the last several weeks I have truly learned who my friends are... and hey! if they are frogs, dogs, rednecks oh and some really cool people too... then I'm lucky.

A difference of opinion...

Just spent 2 hours talking to a friend of mine... we've had our difference of opinion on something lately, but come to find out, if we had just communicated more effectively ... the outcome would have been a lot different.  I do however hope the path you have chosen works the best for you.  Hugs!

In the future, I have learned, not to be so impulsive, and maybe stop and smell the roses.

What a Weekend ...

This past weekend was truly a fun weekend... going from gig to gig... and sim to sim and hanging out with my best friend.  The weekend couldn't have been much better.

Diva had a few gigs this weekend and all I can say is, if you all saw what was said in our chat boxes you'd be amazed.  Diva's voice is second to none in SL, she sings top 40, a little Barbara, and a bit of opera... She has a disclaimer when she sings opera, she is NOT responsible for any broken glass in your house.  Her notes are dead on the money and leaves you breathless. (calendar)

It was also a distinct pleasure to have Lehman Shinn back gigging!  Call me biased but his voice is so soothing, it leaves even the meanest person in a better place.  I look forward to his gigs this week and hope you all can come along too.  (tinyurl.com/lehmanshin for his calendar)

In between gigs, did some exploring... started off at a playground which was totally amazing.  You could play in the sand and actually make stuff... except for the scary statues from that other sim, that give me nightmares, this place is a lot of fun.  From there, we went over to my friend Ema's sim where um lets just say I won't be passing my SL drivers test anytime soon.   Nor will I be allowed to go horse back riding... Just saying.  So I will post the slurl here because it's a really well done sim, and while you are there, check out the billboards, you might just see a frog :))).  Oh while you are at it, check out Gregg Huett, her SL hubby, he's a fantastic musician, and his gigs are a lot of fun, if you go, tell them the frog sent you.   Eventually we made our way to a sim that is listed in the "showcase".  Beautifully done, Medieval type sim.  It was so big, that we have to go back, to explore the castle that was wow monstrous... I'll be posting pics on my flickr page soon, and SLurls here as well... but shhh I'm at work and shouldn't be doing this now.

Another Friday Off...

So, my "photoboy" for those who follow my blog, has been back for a few months now (!yay!) and it just so happens we were both off today... so I said Sam, what do you want to do? He said Vegas Baby!

So off we go to Vegas... Of course we had to look the part, which of course was half the fun... I don't think I have laughed this hard in Secondlife in a long time.

Being in Vegas today reminded me of that holiday where people flock to Vegas to be shot in the bum by Cupid... so, I told "Photoboy" let's go do some promo pics of wedding stuff so people will know I do wedding pictures too... Now I will be honest, lately, I have not been promoting weddings and such, but I really love doing them, they are such a good challenge.

My Friend Fable...

So, oh idk, almost a year ago, this chick rezzs into Reallymad's gig... let me tell you she fit right in... At first she seemed a little apprehensive to join in our fun-natured ribbing of Reallymad... It wasn't too far into the gig that she joined in the fun.  Since then, Fable has fast become my confidant, knowing more about me than probably anyone should, and if she was to tell, I'd have to kill her... but then again, I probably know more about her than most hehe.

Fable, is an astonishing woman. From our talks about RL to our talks about SL she is very understanding and has tons of fantastic advice.  She is so astonishing that Strummer Vultee wrote a song about her name.

Unfortunately, due to RL circumstances, Fable hasn't been around a lot in SL lately but we still talk daily via emails, sharing our lives.  She is wise, loving, and tons of fun.  I am very humbled to be able to call her my friend... of course now she will smack me for being so sappy ... LMAO

A Night of Shopping

So some nights I just have to shop (shuddup Mick)... So the other night I went shopping for a bit, and then my good friend Amber joined in the fun.

I started off at Bliss Couture, bought a dress that I absolutely love.  You can wear it several ways but be careful ladies that you might need some "cover up" for those sensitive bits.  As you can see the dress can be worn long or short.  This dress is beautifully textured & flows gracefully as you dance the night away. (780L)

I caught up with Amber at SLC where I was lucky enough to get on the "lucky chair" and pick these fab jeans, and then later to another one of my favorite stores {paper.doll} to get this new version of this shirt "Wrapped" (125L), it comes in a multitude of colors, but I chose of course the green one.  

The poses all come from EverGlow who is having a 50% off sale! Who could resist so I picked up several sets.

After a long evening of shopping, I headed back to Bliss Couture as there was another dress that caught my eye... And of course it is a bit revealing, so I hesitated buying it, but my gentleman friend who was with me said ..."oh no you would look stunning in it"... so I had to buy it.  (*Scratches head* should have made him pay for it)  I'll post pictures another time (if I remember).  Let's just say I have turned a few heads since I have worn it (wow more than once... shuddup Mick hehe)

I've also been shopping like crazy for artwork for my new home in SL.  I had long forgotten about "Naughty Knickers" for erotic art (not porn).  Be sure to pop over there as well.
