It can evoke certain emotions.
Recent heartache can make any song seem sadder... when you are in love, songs can make you long to hold that certain someone. Songs can bring back incredible memories, like the smell of fresh baked cookies coming from your grandmothers kitchen or of your first dance. Music can make you laugh, can make you cry, music bridges the gap when you can't find the right words. Music speaks the words your heart longs to hear.
Music can bring two closer, as I found out recently a good friend of mine got "partnered" in SL. This closeness he said was a surprise to him. It was an even bigger surprise to me. LOL. Although, in recent weeks, the songs he sings turned more and more into love songs, so a surprise it really wasn't. I simply figured it was merely a matter of time. So for him this blog today is dedicated.
To my dear friend, may your heart continue to find happiness, you deserve nothing but that. May words of songs continue to bring you closer together, and every lyric sung only be a testament to the love you share. And one day, may you only find the words your heart longs to say.
