Recently a friend of mine in Secondlife asked me to join their Relay for Life team. Of course I said yes. Now what does this mean exactly? "The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease." (Taken from Relay for Life's webpage)
So you might ask, how can one help in SL? Well it's very simple actually. Get involved, if you own a venue, host a day long event for musicians to come out and raise some money. If you are a shop owner, have a day (or weeks) profits go to RFL. It's very easy to put up a RFL donation box at your place of business. Promote it, tell your friends, have contests, etc.
